Who are Devon Fresh? is a local operation, based here in Torbay. We are a new joint venture between businesses that together have been providing fruit and vegetables to the people, hotels and restaurants of the English Riviera for over 80 years.


Where do you get your produce from?

As our name implies, wherever possible we source our produce from locally selected suppliers. When local isn’t available for any reason, we use regional and then UK produce to fill the gap whenever possible. Some items, for example bananas and oranges, aren’t grown in the UK. We source these lines either directly from foreign suppliers or via trade markets using our associated companies or our wide range of expert contacts. We hardly ever use airfreighted produce.


Is your produce fresh?

We maintain a strict quality control regime ensuring that our produce is delivered to you fresh and in great condition, just as you would expect.


What happens if I receive goods in unsatisfactory condition?

You contact us, we apologise, and then we cheerfully swap the goods you’re not happy with for ones that you are happy with, or we offer you a refund.


How do I make an order?

Ordering is made through our easy to use website. By following the simple registration process you can be ordering within minutes. Click on the customer log-in link to get started.


How do I know my order has been received?

Once you have placed your order you will see an order notification screen confirming your order has been accepted.


How do I cancel or change an order?

Once you have been notified that the order has been accepted you are unable to cancel or change it online as the payment will have been taken. However, you can call us to say that you want to make a change, and we will always do our best to accommodate you.


Is there a charge for delivery?

There is no charge for delivery providing that your order value is at our minimum level of £10.00 or more.


When and how quickly do you deliver?

Deliveries are made on the day you select, and at roughly the time you request. As we get to know you better, we’ll organise our rounds to fit in as best we can with when you want to see us !

What happens if I am not happy with the produce?


We are sure you will be delighted with the quality of our produce but if you aren’t happy in any way, please talk to our delivery person straight away or contact us as soon as you can. or call us on 01803 617969


How Do I pay?

You can pay with your credit card on our website at the time of your order.


Is my payment secure?

All our online payments are taken through Sage Pay (formerly Protx), who achieve the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard


What happens if I have forgotten my password?


This seems to happen to most of us at one time or another, so don’t worry if you occasionally forget your Devon Fresh password ! There’s a ‘password forgotten’ link under the normal log-in box. Click on this and a replacement password will be emailed to your selected email address.
